3S Biokit®

3S Biokit ® offers a fast, simple and inexpensive method for a multitude of minimally invasive, diagnostic possibilities for dermatologists, veterinarians, scientists from research and other areas.

The stratum corneum contains a lot of diagnostically relevant information , both with regard to the skin itself and the metabolic status of the body as a whole. Therefore, skin surface biopsy is a very important part of dermatology.

The 3S Biokit ® uses a fast- setting cyanoacrylate adhesive to remove a superficial layer 2-3 cells thick from the stratum corneum. The adhesive polymerizes under slight pressure, creating a connection with the same optical properties as glass. This biopsy provides information about the in vivo condition of the stratum corneum. It can be colored and viewed under a microscope.
