What is ReleGO™️ & REVex™️ platform ?
ReleGO™ is the world’s first 4D skin testing platform which functions as a fraction collector that automates procedures with liquid handling and time-based sampling, ReleGO™ accommodates four REVex™ chips — single-use microfluidic devices for testing the safety and efficacy of chemicals, active ingredients, and product formulations on tissue explants or simulants. Each chip has 3 chambers, allowing as many as 12 unique tests to be run simultaneously. Additionally, because protocols are automated, the product also eliminates the need for tiresome, labor-intensive sampling processes.
How to use ReleGO™ and REVex™ chips?
Before ReleGO™, skin researchers faced time-consuming manual operations with traditional diffusion cell apparatus, leading to high costs, accuracy issues, and inconsistencies. REVIVO BioSystems solves these problems by mimicking blood flow function, providing a steady supply of nutrients and oxygen to cells while removing metabolic by-products. REVex™, in a miniaturized size, requires only one-fifth of the sample size compared to traditional methods.

A: Due to Limitations on 2D cultures and 3D organ models, other new technologies such as microfabrication for biological purposes have been created. This approach directed to the development of the so-called organs-on-chips. These are microfluidic devices with micron size chambers that allow the dynamic culture of cells inside, in order to simulate or mimic the physiology of a tissue or organ.
