High-end 3D skin imaging system
Based on a patented fringe projection unit combined with stereo imaging techniques, the AEVA-HE, a 3D Skin Analysis system system offers best performances and flexibility to address different studies/measurements from wrinkles reduction to body reshaping. It is designed to quantify efficacy assessment for cosmetics, aesthetical and dermatology products and treatments.
Thanks to different Filed Of View (FOV) by simply changing objectives sets, it’s possible to switch from small to large measurement areas (from skin structure to body part).

The state of the art combining fringes projection and stereovision, also called active stereometry, provides largest fields of view with the highest resolution. It offers pixel resolution in X, Y, high accuracy in Z, less sensitive to movement. Based on high quality and stability components, different fields of view are available with 3D Skin analysis system by simply changing objectives sets to switch from small to large measurement areas (from skin structure to body part).
It employs an interchangeable sensor system with the appropriate resolution for a variety of applications:
- Highest resolution local measurement (FOV-110 , 170)
- High resolution whole face measurement (FOV-250)
- Global measurement covering a part of the body (FOV-480)
In addition, it is equipped with a unique alignment (image superposition) algorithm, and when superimposing, it does not identify wrinkles but superimposes based on the curve and shape of the measurement surface itself. Therefore, even if wrinkles change due to moisturizing, etc., it is possible to identify the same part and accurately superimpose the images before and after the treatment for evaluation

Dedicated Positioning Bench
The panelists are installed on the VisioHOP or into the visioTOP 500 bench for stable and repeatable positioning and re-positioning between the different measuring times points. Managing the volunteers and getting reliable and repeatable results becomes much easier.
Face Mode: The volunteer is sitting and is adjusted in height using a motorized actuator to be in the right position relative to the head and keeps limiting its movements. A laser and a mirror allow the person to place his face repeatedly at each time.
Body Mode: The volunteer is standing and adjusted so that he has a comfortable position to keep maintaining the system. The laser is used to position the person repeatedly at each time. As an option you can have a rotating plate allowing to acquire the body automatically without operator intervention.
Powerful Software Aeva-V4
New Aeva software (Aeva-V4) guides the user through acquisition routine, runs automatic batch processing and evaluation of the 3D data providing results as CSV files, figures and pictures. It offers unique multi zones, multi-scaling analysis functionalities.
