The Visioline® VL 650 utilizes a skin replica-based analysis, employing Silflo®—a renowned white, non-glossy silicone material—to accurately capture the skin’s surface relief. The replica is illuminated inside the device using oblique lighting at a 35° angle, a method designed to cast shadows that emphasize surface irregularities.

These shadows, created by the elevated ridges in the replica that represent wrinkles, are then captured by a vertically mounted digital camera. The resulting images form the basis for precise, reproducible arithmetical evaluations, including:

The Replica Kit provides all the necessary materials for creating high-quality skin surface impressions used in conjunction with the Visioline® VL 650 system. It is specially designed for accurate replication of both deep wrinkles (e.g., crow’s feet) and fine skin structures (e.g., inner forearm).
